What You Will Be Doing
- You will execute on-site job requirements, working alongside an experienced two-man team.
- You will assess each job individually, choosing the best solutions for safety, functionality, and performance based on manufacturer guidelines.
- You will answer customers’ questions professionally and clearly.
- You will clean up the job site after each project, leaving it spotless.
- You will pull inventory as needed and maintain the vehicle, tools, and equipment.
- You will prepare various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, burning, sanding, sandblasting, or other means.
- You will mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special coatings to achieve the right color, consistency, and drying properties.
- You will caulk, putty, cement, or plaster holes and cracks to ensure a smooth finish.
- You will paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other applicators as required.
- You will prepare walls and hang wallpaper or other wall coverings when needed.
- You will determine proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
- You will evaluate customer requests, provide project pricing, troubleshoot issues, and present work orders to customers.
- You will perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
