Here is a unique opportunity for a professional, security-conscious Cleaner to support service delivery within a secure Commonwealth Government facility in Brisbane CBD. Teski Cleaning is seeking a reliable individual for a part-time or casual role operating within a controlled environment where access is permitted to classified resources up to and including Protected level. The hourly rate is $35 to $45. This position requires a current Baseline AGSVA Commonwealth Security Clearance, or Australian citizenship with eligibility and willingness to obtain one. Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of commercial cleaning services within secure office and controlled-access areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, detailed surface cleaning, and waste management.
- Cleaning and sanitising of amenities and kitchen facilities.
- Adherence to all site access, key control, and security protocols.
- Compliance with secure material handling procedures.
- Immediate reporting of security incidents, hazards, or irregularities.
- Completion of compliance documentation as required.
Confidentiality and Integrity Obligations
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Comply with Commonwealth security policies and site-specific procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all site activities, personnel, and information.
- Demonstrate integrity, discretion, and professional conduct at all times.
- Avoid conflicts of interest and uphold ethical standards consistent with government environments.
- Participate in security briefings and compliance training as required.
Failure to comply with security obligations may result in removal from site and/or termination of employment.
Essential Criteria
- Current Baseline AGSVA clearance OR eligibility and willingness to obtain (Australian citizenship required).
- Previous commercial cleaning experience.
