What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet and escort guests to their rooms.
- Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property.
- Inform guests about property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
- Identify and explain room functionalities to guests (how to use room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, room safe, personal laundry services).
- Carry guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas.
- Assist with storing and retrieving luggage.
- Help guests and visitors entering and exiting vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage.
- Offer guests directions to their destinations.
- Arrange transportation (taxi, minibus) for guests and visitors, noting advance requests as needed.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect.
- Support the team to reach common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds unassisted.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing more than 75 pounds.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire work shifts.
- Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (running, walking, jogging).
- Read and visually verify information in various formats.
- Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
- Climb stairs and/or service ramps.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette.
- Remain alert for any undesirable persons on the property.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
