Key Responsibilities
As a Service Technician Electrician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and servicing Aggreko’s assets to support the growing Japanese business.
- Perform routine electrical servicing and general equipment maintenance on generators, load banks, distribution systems, and battery storage.
- Conduct fault finding and repair on electrical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Provide customer response in case of equipment failure, troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively.
- Perform electrical system servicing to defined service intervals, following standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Carry out LV and HV isolation, maintenance, and switching as required.
- Conduct intermediate electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics.
- Perform LV commissioning tasks.
- Respond to customer sites when needed, providing hands-on support and expertise.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for a qualified electrician with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician with a certified electrical license.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting, fault diagnostics, and system servicing.
- Strong attention to safety and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Willingness to respond to customer sites in case of equipment failure.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Forklift License.
- Experience with generators, load banks, or battery storage systems.
- LV & HV switching experience.
