HireLevel is looking for a Paint Prep / Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment in St. Louis, Missouri. This full-time role offers a fantastic 4-day workweek Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM giving you three-day weekends every week. You’ll be responsible for preparing welded pieces for painting, operating an overhead forklift, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare welded pieces for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for coating.
- Perform sandblasting tasks as needed to prepare materials.
- Operate an overhead forklift to move products weighing up to 1,000 pounds safely and efficiently.
- Remove weld splatter from parts using a small chisel, paying close attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout your shift.
- Follow all safety procedures and take direction well from supervisors.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 6 months of relevant experience in a similar role (painting, material handling, or warehouse work).
- Good attention to detail you notice when something needs extra care.
- Ability to take directions well and work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred:
- Experience with sandblasting, forklift operation, or paint preparation.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Schedule and Compensation
- Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4-day workweek)
- Compensation: Up to $19.00 per hour, based on experience
