 Key Responsibilities

As a Simulator Technician, you will be responsible for the operational readiness and performance of our critical training equipment.

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on flight training devices (FTDs) and simulators, addressing electrical, hydraulic, and subsystem components.
  • Execute configuration changes and software updates on simulators, then test and validate their operation to ensure compliance with strict regulatory standards.
  • Monitor simulator performance continuously to ensure it meets all governmental regulations and company quality standards.
  • Assist with basic tasks associated with the Qualification Test Guide (QTG) to verify simulator accuracy and performance.
  • Identify and recommend needed parts or materials for repairs and maintenance to keep the fleet operational.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and reporting any safety hazards in accordance with the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated technician with a solid foundation in electronics and a proactive work ethic.

Education and Experience:

  • An Associate degree in electronics, completion of a civilian/military electronics technical school, or equivalent related technical experience is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in electronics, aviation maintenance, or a related technical field.
