 Key Responsibilities

In this critical field-based role, you will be responsible for gathering the essential data needed to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems.

• Travel extensively to client sites across the United States and internationally to conduct detailed on-site assessments (rarely on weekends).
• Gather all necessary information, measurements, and data required to perform various types of detailed electrical engineering analysis, such as arc flash studies and coordination analysis.
• Interact directly with customers at their facilities, representing the company with professionalism and a strong service-oriented attitude.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, managing your schedule and tasks to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensure every data collection and assessment step is performed meticulously, adhering to strict protocols where shortcuts are not an option.

Qualifications

Must-Have Experience and Traits:

• A minimum of 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in industrial and/or large commercial electrical installations or related fieldwork.
• A strong, self-directed work ethic with the ability to initiate tasks and work effectively without direct supervision.
• Exceptional thoroughness and attention to detail, with a firm understanding that precision is non-negotiable in safety-critical work.
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine “Customer First” mindset.
• High personal and professional integrity.
• Willingness and ability to undertake extensive travel.

Preferred Skills (A Plus, Not Required):

• Experience as an instructor in a technical or safety-related field.
• Hands-on experience with infrared thermography for electrical inspections.
• Proficiency in electrical circuit tracing and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
