A busy, locally owned Food and Beverage Wholesaler is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join their team. This role focuses on delivering food supplies to local day cares and other customers, ensuring timely and professional service. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food supplies to local day cares and other customer locations efficiently and safely
- Handle deliveries with care, respecting the environment around young children
- Load and unload items, including lifting weights of 25kg or more
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
- Comply with health and safety policies, vehicle regulations, and company procedures
- Maintain delivery records and ensure accuracy of orders
Qualifications
- Clean Class 2 driving license with solid driving and delivery experience
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
- Ability to lift 25kg+ on a daily basis and maintain physical stamina
- Excellent verbal English and strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong references and a solid attendance record
- Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice audit for deliveries into correctional facilities if required
