Key Responsibilities
As a key support member on our construction sites, you will assist with a wide range of tasks essential to our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with initial site preparation and daily cleanup to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Moving and organizing building materials, tools, and equipment to different areas of the site as required by the project.
- Providing direct support to our skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers, and painters by handing them tools and materials and helping with tasks as directed.
- Performing various general physical labour duties that contribute to the smooth progression of the building process.
- Following all site safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure workplace for everyone.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to contribute from day one and grow with our company. The ideal person will have:
- Proven experience in a labouring or similar hands-on role within the construction industry.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to various sites across Perth’s northern suburbs.
- Basic experience and competence with common power tools.
- The ability to work efficiently, take direction well, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- A strong, genuine interest in learning the building trade and developing a long-term career in the industry.
- A positive, motivated attitude and the physical fitness required for manual labour.
