Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on our airfreight operations, with a variety of supporting tasks. Key duties include:
- Expertly loading airline unit load devices (ULDs) to prepare perishable and dry goods for export.
- Unloading trucks and checking cargo into our warehouse with a sharp eye for detail.
- Using scanning technology to track and manage shipments accurately.
- Performing general warehouse duties and assisting with the loading/unloading of ocean freight containers.
- Maintaining meticulous paperwork and ensuring all product handling meets strict standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is:
- Physically fit, reliable, and possesses a strong, honest work ethic.
- Able to work independently with excellent attention to detail for both products and documentation.
- Flexible with availability for rostered work, including potential weekend hours.
- In possession of a current Class 1 (Restricted or Full) driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Knowledgeable and vigilant about Health and Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
Advantageous skills (training available for the right candidate):
- Experience in airfreight, perishable goods, or cool store environments.
- A current forklift licence or a Class 2-4 HT licence.
