Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering our standard of cleanliness across various client sites. Your core duties will include:
- Performing a full range of daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed dusting.
- Sanitising and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, restrooms, and all common areas to a high hygienic standard.
- Managing waste disposal efficiently, including sorting recyclables and general trash.
- Following all safety procedures and using cleaning chemicals and equipment appropriately.
- Restocking supplies as needed and promptly reporting any maintenance issues or equipment faults.
- Taking good care of cleaning equipment and ensuring it is stored correctly after use.
Qualifications
To be successful in this hands-on role, you will need:
- Prior experience in a commercial or residential cleaning position.
- A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- The ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to complete all tasks within your shift.
- The physical stamina to perform cleaning duties effectively throughout a 30-40 hour work week across day and evening shifts.
