Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our after-hours property team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our college facilities. Your daily tasks will include:
- Performing thorough cleaning of assigned classrooms, offices, and common areas after school hours.
- Vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and dusting surfaces and furniture.
- Cleaning and sanitising student bathrooms and staff amenities, ensuring they are fully stocked and hygienic.
- Emptying all rubbish and recycling bins from around the campus.
- Wiping down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, and light switches.
- Following all health and safety procedures and using cleaning chemicals appropriately.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual with a good work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work diligently without direct supervision.
- Good attention to detail and pride in a job well done.
- The physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Reliability and excellent time management to complete all tasks within the scheduled hours.
- A respectful and discreet manner, understanding you will be working in a school environment.
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
