Your Key Responsibilities
As a vital link in our supply chain, you will perform a variety of tasks to keep our distribution centre running smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will include:
- Accurately picking customer orders using voice-pick or scanner technology, either by full cases or by building orders on a pre-pick module cart.
- Loading route trucks with products safely and efficiently, using roller carts or manual handling.
- Operating material handling equipment; forklift experience is required.
- Uploading returned products and cardboard from route trucks back into inventory and processing recyclables.
- Performing general clean-up and sanitation duties to maintain our facility’s high standards of safety and appearance.
- Adhering to all safety protocols, including safe lifting techniques, and contributing to a culture of workplace safety.
- Participating in regular team meetings and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
The Skills And Qualifications You Bring
We are looking for dependable individuals who can thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment. The successful candidate will have:
- Proven forklift operating experience (a requirement for this role).
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- A strong safety mindset and the ability to follow procedures meticulously.
- The capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A valid Class G driver’s license with a clean record is a strong asset.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to quality work.
