Key Responsibilities

You will be the face of Hitachi’s OEM support in the field, responsible for delivering holistic technical and commercial solutions to our mining customers.

  • Provide comprehensive OEM-level customer and technical support, acting as the primary point of contact for our mining clients in the Bowen Basin.
  • Manage and grow an existing customer network, proactively sourcing new business opportunities to expand our market presence.
  • Promote tailored parts and service sales solutions to meet and exceed company sales targets, preparing detailed quotes to meet specific customer needs.
  • Maintain a structured customer call cycle, actively building relationships and accurately reporting on sales activity, prospects, and market intelligence.
  • Attend customer site meetings to resolve complex technical issues directly and ensure a consistently positive customer experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified professional with a strong technical foundation and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • A relevant trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical fields is essential.
