Key Responsibilities

Your core mission will be to ensure every unit we install operates flawlessly and safely, adhering to strict technical and regulatory standards.

  • Execute testing, commissioning, and functional checks on new installations according to project schedules and technical manuals.
  • Read and accurately interpret architectural layouts, builder’s drawings, and complex schematic wiring diagrams.
  • Demonstrate hands-on competency in aligning guide shoes, car cages, doors, and performing critical safety tests like load balancing.
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults in modular systems, identifying root causes, and performing necessary corrective repairs.
  • Ensure all work processes strictly comply with Schindler’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and statutory safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Complete all required installation checklists, test reports, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve on-site issues promptly.

Qualifications

We are looking for a technically proficient and safety-conscious individual who thrives in a team-oriented field environment.

  • You must possess an ITE Nitec-Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Attainment of the Basic Modular Product Fitter Certification is required.
  • You have a solid understanding of electrical fundamentals, controller systems, drives, and safety circuits relevant to elevator technology.
  • Proficiency in reading schematic and wiring drawings is essential.
  • You are physically fit, able to handle tools, and lift equipment as required for the job.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, proactive, and responsible work ethic.
  • Training in IoEE Installation and Commissioning, as well as Basic Modular Maintenance, is a strong advantage.
