Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operator I, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks within our clean room environment to ensure the highest product quality. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining production tools, including storing, retrieving, assembling, and cleaning molds.
  • Operating key machinery such as mills, extruders, and presses to manufacture and mold preform materials.
  • Performing detailed finishing work, including deflashing, trimming, and inspecting parts to meet strict specifications.
  • Conducting final inspections using precision measurement tools like gauges and micrometers.
  • Accurately recording all production data in our digital collection system as required.
  • Following all written work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards without deviation.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe production area at all times.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
  • The ability to learn complex departmental tasks and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong reading comprehension skills to understand and precisely follow technical work instructions.
  • A diligent work ethic with a committed focus on quality, safety, and workplace organization.
  • Basic computer capability; familiarity with SAP or a similar system is a plus.
  • The physical capability to meet the job demands, including frequent standing/walking and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • A commitment to cross-train and achieve certification in multiple Chemraz production line skill sets within a defined timeframe.
