As a Plant Operator (Truck Driver HC), you’ll be based in Aramac with regional travel, operating heavy vehicles to transport essential materials for our infrastructure projects. Your Key Responsibilities

You will be the crucial link in our supply chain, ensuring our road crews have what they need, when they need it.

  • Safely operate a Heavy Combination (HC) class truck to transport materials, plant, and equipment to various road construction and maintenance sites across the region.
  • Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure operational safety and reliability.
  • Load and unload materials in accordance with safe work procedures.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated construction and maintenance team.
  • Strictly adhere to all road safety regulations, workplace health and safety policies, and site-specific instructions.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a qualified professional with a strong safety record.

  • A current Queensland Class ‘HC’ (Heavy Combination) Driver’s Licence is mandatory.
  • A current General Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card).
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating plant equipment at an ‘HC’ licence class level.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Highly Desirable: Traffic Controller Licence and/or Traffic Management Implementation qualifications.
