Key Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Building Maintenance Technician, you will perform a wide range of duties to ensure our site remains in top condition. Your essential responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential hazards and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Responding promptly to and completing work orders and emergency maintenance requests.
  • Repairing or replacing structural components such as doors, windows, flooring, and drywall.
  • Maintaining building grounds, which will include seasonal tasks like snow and ice removal, lawn care, and general cleaning.
  • Accurately documenting all maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders in compliance with company policy.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in strict accordance with MSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified candidate who brings the right experience and attitude. The requirements are:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of direct, hands-on experience in building maintenance or a closely related field.
  • Strong practical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical systems.
  • A valid driver’s license is required. Technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or related areas are a strong advantage.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • The capability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must provide and wear steel-toe safety shoes.
