Key Responsibilities
You will be a crucial part of the laundry production line, ensuring the efficient processing of high-volume linen. Your daily tasks will involve:
- Sorting, loading, and unloading industrial washing and drying machines.
- Operating pressing and ironing equipment to finish items to a high standard.
- Folding, packing, and preparing cleaned linen for dispatch to clients.
- Working efficiently to meet production targets and maintain quality control.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, following all site procedures.
Qualifications
To be successful in this fast-paced role, you will need:
- Good physical strength and fitness for a role involving repetitive lifting, bending, and being on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
- The ability to follow instructions precisely, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and the commitment to complete full shifts as rostered.
- An up-to-date resume and the ability to provide two valid employment references with contact details.
- Availability for an immediate start.
Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, or similar industrial environment is preferred, but full training will be provided.
