Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be essential to our on-site operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Preparing work areas by carefully taping, masking, and covering furniture and flooring to protect our clients’ belongings.
- Assisting with surface preparation through scraping, sanding, patching holes, and cleaning walls to ensure a flawless finish.
- Learning to apply primers, paints, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers under the guidance of experienced painters.
- Safely moving, setting up, and breaking down ladders, scaffolding, and other job site equipment.
- Helping to load, unload, and organize all materials, tools, and supplies at the shop and on-site.
- Maintaining impeccably clean and organized work areas throughout the project and performing thorough cleanup upon completion.
- Interacting with homeowners in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner at all times.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring the right attitude and capability to the job:
- The physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and being on your feet for most of the day.
- A reliable form of transportation and a strong commitment to punctuality and showing up ready to work.
- A solid work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine eagerness to learn new skills.
- The ability to follow instructions carefully and work cooperatively as part of a team.
- A professional demeanor and respect for working in customers’ homes.
