Key Responsibilities

You will be entrusted with critical fabrication tasks that form the backbone of our projects. Your core duties will include:

  • Accurately assembling and welding structural components in accordance with engineer-provided print drawings and detailed specifications.
  • Performing all welding to meet or exceed established industry standards for strength, quality, and integrity.
  • Skillfully operating hand welding, flame-cutting, and related equipment to join metal parts and fabricate assemblies.
  • Taking responsibility for your work area by ensuring all activities comply with our stringent safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Completing additional tasks and projects as directed by the Site Superintendent to support overall project timelines and goals.

Qualifications

This role prioritizes proven skill and certification over formal education. The successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on, professional welding experience in a structural or heavy fabrication context.
  • Possession of a valid Welding Certificate for 3G and-or 6G positions is a strong and preferred advantage.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Extensive practical experience with hand welding and flame-cutting equipment.
  • An unwavering commitment to workplace safety and personal accountability for quality.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Availability to work a 6-day work week schedule.
