Key Responsibilities

In this key role, you’ll be the professional face of Messer on the road, entrusted with delivering our essential products safely and efficiently.

  • Safely operate a late-model tanker truck to transport bulk industrial gases to our valued customers across the region.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring your vehicle and equipment meet our strict safety and compliance standards at all times.
  • Handle all required documentation, including bills of lading and electronic logs, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain professional, positive relationships with customers at each delivery site.

Qualifications

We are looking for safe, reliable drivers who share our commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Your Tanker endorsement is required, and a HAZMAT endorsement is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • A clean commercial driving record and a good personal driving history.
  • The flexibility to work a schedule that will include nights and weekends as part of a rotating five-day work week.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
