Key Responsibilities
As a Casual Laundry Worker, you will be an integral part of our production line, ensuring the efficient processing of linen. Your duties will include:
- Sorting soiled linen from hospitals, aged care facilities, and other client sites.
- Operating industrial laundry machinery as part of the fast-paced processing workflow.
- Performing repetitive but essential tasks that are key to our daily operations.
- Handling linen and completing tasks that involve regular lifting (5kg-15kg), bending, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Strictly adhering to all safe work procedures and contributing to our workplace safety culture.
Qualifications
We are looking for team-oriented individuals who can thrive in our environment. The successful candidate will have:
- A strong “can-do” attitude and a reliable work ethic.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to safely perform repetitive lifting.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 6:00 AM and 2:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse, multicultural team.
- Basic literacy skills to understand and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
Please Note: A pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing and immunisations, is a mandatory requirement for these roles.
