Key Responsibilities
In this combined role, you will be essential to the daily comfort and wellbeing of our residents. Your key duties will include:
- Thoroughly cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and all communal areas like lounges and dining rooms to the highest hygienic standards.
- Following strict infection control measures and protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Restocking essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other hygiene items throughout the facility.
- Assisting with the full laundry process: sorting soiled linens and personal clothing, operating washers and dryers on correct cycles, and carefully folding and delivering clean items to residents.
- Diligently following daily task lists and checklists, ensuring all duties are completed and properly signed off.
- Interacting with residents in a friendly, respectful, and caring manner, always considering their individual needs and wellbeing.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate individual who aligns with our values. The ideal candidate will have:

- The reliability and initiative to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Previous experience in a cleaning, laundry, or aged care environment is preferred but not essential—we provide full training.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
