Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be essential in maintaining our high standards for clients in the Waihi area. Your core duties will include:

• Performing thorough cleaning tasks according to detailed schedules for various commercial sites.
• Using appropriate equipment and methods for different environments, including factories and food production areas.
• Ensuring all assigned areas meet our strict quality and hygiene standards before completing a shift.
• Safely and confidently operating a company van to travel between job sites, including during evening hours.
• Restocking supplies and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Providing flexible cover when needed to ensure consistent service for our clients.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a dependable individual who understands the importance of this work. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a strong, demonstrated willingness to learn and excel in the industry.
• A solid understanding of cleaning protocols, especially within food production or factory environments, is a significant advantage.
• A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and confidence driving a van in the city and after dark.
• Outstanding reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work scheduled hours between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, as per a roster.
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts occasionally due to team absences.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.
