Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our driving team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of dry van freight. Your primary duties include:
- Operating a company-provided tractor to haul freight primarily within the Midwest and Southeast regional lanes.
- Being available for dispatch 7 days a week (adhering to Hours of Service regulations) to maintain eligibility for the guaranteed pay program.
- Performing a mix of drop and hook and live load/unload operations (all no-touch freight).
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining all required documentation and logs.
- Communicating professionally with dispatch and planning routes effectively to meet all delivery appointments.
- Upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance with all DOT and company regulations.
Qualifications
We are looking for professional drivers who meet the following criteria:
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road or regional driving experience.
- A clean driving record that reflects a strong safety mindset.
- The ability and willingness to be available for dispatch 7 days a week (within HOS limits).
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
