Key Responsibilities
You will be entrusted with the safe delivery of our products and will serve as a key representative of our company. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating a commercial vehicle to deliver fuel and propane to customer sites in a courteous and professional manner.
- Preparing accurate delivery tickets and completing all necessary paperwork and electronic logs for processing.
- Strictly observing and adhering to all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and security protocols for hazardous materials.
- Providing excellent customer service, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients at each stop.
- Assisting on other delivery routes as needed and providing support within the plant or terminal when not on the road.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications
This is a specialized driving role with specific, non-negotiable requirements. The ideal candidate must possess:
- A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with both Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N or X) endorsements.
- A clean and verifiable good driving record.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of related driving or delivery experience is highly beneficial.
- Strong general math skills and excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic devices such as tablets and smartphones for documentation and navigation.
- The physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds, climbing, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
