Key Responsibilities
In this combined role, you’ll tackle important tasks both on the road and in the shop, making you a key part of our daily operations.
- Safely shuttle commercial trucks and trailers between our maintenance facilities and customer locations for repairs.
- Handle the picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of parts and packages in our warehouse.
- Serve as a dependable back-up driver for our dedicated parts delivery routes when needed.
- Work collaboratively with technicians and warehouse staff to load and unload vehicles and materials.
- Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of your daily duties.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and policies to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic and the following qualifications.
- You must have a valid driver’s license from your state of residence and be at least 21 years old for interstate driving.
- A safe driving record is essential, and we will review your Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years.
- You must be able to pass a DOT-regulated background screening and either have a valid DOT medical card with more than four months until expiration or pass a new DOT physical.
- We require a high school diploma or GED plus 3 years of related experience. We will also consider candidates with any degree/certification beyond high school in a related field, or 5 years of related experience without a diploma.
- A self-sufficient work ethic and basic math skills are required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or a similar field is preferred, and forklift experience is a plus.
