Key Responsibilities
Your expertise will be crucial across all phases of the farming season. Key duties will include:
- Operating a range of tractors and GPS-equipped machinery for plowing, planting, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- Setting up, operating, and performing basic repairs on irrigation systems.
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.
- Precisely loading agricultural products into trucks and transporting them to storage or market.
- Performing general farm maintenance, including repairing fences and farm buildings, mowing, and cleaning work areas.
- Safely mixing and handling materials, seeds, and solutions for application.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this seasonal role will possess:
- Proven, verifiable experience operating and maintaining a wide variety of modern farm machinery and tractors.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for performing basic repairs and maintenance on farm equipment.
