Key Responsibilities
As a General Cleaner, you will ensure our client facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Your core duties will include:
- Performing comprehensive cleaning of all floor surfaces through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas, including restocking paper products and sanitary supplies.
- Emptying trash and recyclables and operating compactors as needed.
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
- Assisting with carpet care, including spot cleaning and shampooing.
- Safely operating heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, buffers, and backpack vacuums after training.
- Following detailed cleaning schedules and client-specific instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
Qualifications
We are looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic. The essentials are:
- A high school diploma or equivalent OR a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial or cleaning role.
- Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully and effectively.
- On-the-job training will be provided, so a positive attitude and readiness to learn new skills are key.
- Must be adaptable, as tasks may vary by client site.
