Key Responsibilities

As a core member of our hatchery team, your duties will ensure smooth and efficient production. You will:

  • Carefully handle, sort, and pack eggs with attention to detail.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect incubators, equipment, and facility areas.
  • Accurately maintain records related to egg production, hatch rates, and chick quality.
  • Assist with essential chick care processes like vaccination and beak trimming.
  • Monitor and help maintain critical environmental conditions like temperature and humidity.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols diligently.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • A strong work ethic and reliability, with six months of steady work history preferred.
  • The ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfort working in a hatchery environment, which includes contact with live poultry, feathers, and disinfectants.
  • The physical capability to handle trays and boxes, sometimes weighing up to 40 lbs, and to work in warm, humid, or noisy conditions.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or protein processing is a plus, but we provide training for motivated individuals.
