About Tzu-Chi And the Role

The Tzu-Chi Foundation is a global humanitarian organization grounded in compassion and service. In Singapore, our Medical Mission embodies these values through palliative care and community health programmes. As the Healthcare Operations Manager, you will serve as a key support to the General Manager and a crucial liaison between the CEO Office and our medical services team. Your work will ensure our healthcare initiatives are executed effectively, sustainably, and in deep alignment with our foundational mission.

Your Key Responsibilities

This multifaceted role requires strategic thinking, operational diligence, and collaborative leadership across four core areas:

1. Healthcare Oversight And Coordination:

  • Assist in monitoring programme performance, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with the Head of Medical Services to enhance operational efficiency and address challenges.
  • Facilitate strategic alignment between the CEO Office and medical teams on goals and priorities.
  • Support the evaluation and sustainability planning for new and existing health initiatives.

2. Partnerships And Fundraising:

  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with corporates, healthcare institutions, and community groups.
  • Collaborate with fundraising teams to design and implement campaigns that secure vital resources for healthcare programmes.
  • Represent Tzu-Chi in external forums, fostering advocacy and community engagement.

3. Organisational Support And Special Projects:

  • Act as a liaison across departments to ensure seamless execution of organisational priorities.
  • Oversee timelines and deliverables for healthcare-related and cross-functional projects.
  • Contribute to crisis management and organisational risk mitigation efforts.

4. Leadership And Team Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture.
  • Empower teams to achieve excellence in programme delivery and partnership outcomes.

The Experience And Heart You Bring

We are looking for a candidate whose professional skills are matched by their personal alignment with our values.

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of professional experience, including 3 to 5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within healthcare, non-profit, or related sectors.
  • A strong understanding of the Singapore non-profit and charity governance landscape.
  • Proven excellence in stakeholder engagement, coordination, and project management.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented, values-based environment.
  • A genuine alignment with Tzu-Chi’s mission, values, and principles of compassion, integrity, and service.
  • Familiarity with palliative care or community health programmes is a significant advantage.
