Key Responsibilities

You will be the reliable link ensuring our heating oil customers and operations receive the fuel they need, safely and professionally.

  • Safely operate a fuel delivery truck to transport heating oil to and from company tanks and customer locations in the Fairbanks area.
  • Ensure all delivery documentation, receipts, and inventory records are completed accurately and processed promptly.
  • Perform daily and monthly inventory checks of bulk fuel tanks and the delivery truck.
  • Communicate effectively with the dispatcher to coordinate routes, provide updates, and report any delivery issues.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the truck is properly equipped, loaded to legal weight, and ready for safe operation.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to every customer and team member you interact with.

Qualifications

We are looking for a safety-focused professional who meets specific licensing and personal criteria.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker (N), Hazmat (H), and Airbrake endorsements. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic outdoor environment.
  • Proficiency with basic technology (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • A strong team player with a passion for excellent customer service and a “pitch-in” attitude.
