We are seeking a meticulous Cycle Counter to join our inventory team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our raw materials inventory through precise cycle counting and diligent investigation of discrepancies. Your work will directly support our operational efficiency and commitment to quality. Please note: This position is based at our current facility and will relocate to our Gilroy, CA location

Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse processes. Your key duties will include:
- Performing daily cycle counts of raw materials according to established procedures to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Running inventory reports, locating items physically, and conducting precise counts for assigned warehouse locations.
- Researching, investigating, and reconciling any inventory discrepancies identified during counts.
- Preparing and submitting detailed cycle count reports for review.
- Assisting with material variance requests (VRs), batch descriptions, and auditing scrap documentation.
- Adhering strictly to all company safety protocols (ISI Safe) within the warehouse and production areas.
- Supporting activities related to material purges and scrap separation as directed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in a cycle counting, inventory control, or warehouse auditing role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in counting and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Basic computer skills for running reports and data entry; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- The ability to follow detailed procedures and comply with strict safety guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items as required in a warehouse environment.
