Key Responsibilities
You will be a key contributor in our manufacturing process, with duties focusing on quality and precision. Your key tasks will include:
- Performing MIG welding operations on various metal components to meet exact project specifications and welding procedure standards.
- Inspecting structures, materials, and joint configurations prior to welding to ensure they are prepared correctly for a quality weld.
- Conducting routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal and safe operation.
- Producing welds that are capable of passing rigorous non-destructive testing, including radiographic (RT) examination.
- Adhering strictly to all workplace safety protocols and quality control measures throughout the fabrication process.
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and instructions to execute work accurately.
Qualifications
This position requires specific, verifiable credentials. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant welding work experience gained within Singapore.
- Possession of a valid Welder Qualification Certificate and relevant Experience Certificates from previous employers.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the properties and welding techniques for different types of metals used in industrial fabrication.
- The proven ability to produce weldments that meet the quality standard to pass a Radiography Test (RT).
- A strong, inherent commitment to workplace safety and procedural compliance.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
