Lasalle House Hostel is seeking a reliable and practical Laundry Assistant to join our supportive team, playing a key role in the daily life of our boarding school community. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the efficient and thorough management of all laundry services for our boarding students.
- Manage the full laundry process for the hostel, including washing, drying, and folding student uniforms, sportswear, and bed linen.
- Sort and handle laundry with care, ensuring items are returned to the correct students in a timely and organised manner.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe laundry facility, following all health and safety protocols.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report any maintenance needs or issues with equipment promptly.
Qualifications
We are looking for a practical, organised individual with a strong work ethic.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a practical, hands-on approach to work.
- Good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to manage laundry for multiple students accurately.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently to complete daily tasks within the scheduled hours.
- A respectful and discreet manner, with an understanding of working in a school boarding environment.
