Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on the meticulous assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of various units. You’ll play a direct role in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.
- Read and interpret work orders, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, and pneumatic assemblies.
- Perform detailed assembly operations, identify any errors in the process, and implement corrections to ensure all products meet strict specifications.
- Operate a range of testing equipment—including electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps—to validate the function of assemblies and components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all parts for defects, perform part audits before starting jobs, and complete final detailing on all finished work.
- Maintain impeccable safety standards by following all protocols, using protective equipment, and promptly reporting any hazards or incidents to maintain a secure workplace.
- Accurately document your progress by entering data into our computer systems, which may include labor details and test results.
Qualifications
We value practical skills and a proactive attitude. The ideal candidate will bring the following to our team:
- A Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field) is required.
- While prior relevant experience in assembly or testing is a strong advantage, we will also consider fresh graduates or individuals with relevant internship experience and a solid academic foundation.
- You must be comfortable reading technical diagrams and have a fundamental understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards is non-negotiable.
- You should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
