Your Day-to-Day Role
You’ll be the welcoming face of CVS, handling a variety of tasks that keep our store running smoothly for our customers.
- Provide exceptional, caring customer service by greeting everyone warmly, anticipating needs, and helping them find products.
- Accurately handle cashier duties, including processing transactions (cash, credit, checks) and following all store procedures.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating prices, checking in vendors, and completing inventory tasks.
- Support all store departments, including Photo and Beauty, ensuring they are well-stocked and ready to serve customers.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Help support our pharmacy team when required, which can include opportunities to work scheduled shifts in the pharmacy for career growth.
- Learn about and promote CVS services, loyalty programs, and digital tools that help customers manage their health.
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for team members who bring a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- A friendly, customer-focused demeanor with a genuine desire to assist people.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally.
- Good attention to detail for tasks like handling money and stocking shelves.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- A plus: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role.
