Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering critical waterproofing solutions across a variety of projects. Your core duties will include:

  • Performing high-standard waterproofing applications on construction sites across the Central Coast, Hunter, and Newcastle regions.
  • Reading and interpreting project plans and specifications to apply the correct systems and materials.
  • Conducting site preparation, application, and quality assurance checks on all work completed.
  • Traveling weekly for out-of-area work as required, with occasional travel further afield.
  • Working efficiently and safely both independently and as part of a small, skilled team.
  • Maintaining provided company vehicles and tools to a high standard.
  • Adhering strictly to all site safety protocols and building codes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this specialised role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Mandatory: Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • A minimum of 5 years of general construction experience, with specific, hands-on waterproofing experience required.
  • A valid Construction Safety Induction White Card.
  • A current manual driver’s licence is highly preferred.
  • Proven reliability, honesty, and an exceptional eye for detail.
  • The physical capability to handle materials, including carrying up to 20kg up and down stairs.
  • The ability to work autonomously, manage your time on-site, and be available for weekly travel.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
