Welder-Fabricator-Fitter Hiring In Japan

Are you a skilled welder who takes pride in your craft and values efficiency? Roundhouse Industries is seeking experienced welders who can step onto our production floor and contribute from day one. We build durable, hardworking trailers for customers who rely on them, and we need welders who understand the responsibility that comes with that. If you’re a self-sufficient professional who values quality, pace, and being part of a solid team, we invite you to apply.

About Roundhouse Industries

At Roundhouse, our philosophy is simple: build it strong, build it right, build it together. This is not an entry-level training role. It’s a position for a welder with real-world, hands-on experience who is comfortable working independently in a production shop. You’ll be MIG welding structural steel components, relying on your skills and judgment to read blueprints and produce quality work that meets our high standards and production schedules.

What You Will Be Doing

Your core responsibility is to produce strong, reliable welds as part of our fabrication process.

  • Perform MIG welding on steel components for trailer assemblies with consistency and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints with minimal supervision.
  • Accurately fit, tack, and weld structural assemblies, ensuring precise alignment and build quality.
  • Maintain high weld quality while meeting daily production goals and timelines.
  • Adhere strictly to all shop safety practices and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively as a dependable member of our production team, communicating clearly to solve problems.

What We Are Looking For

We need a practical, reliable professional who already knows their way around a fabrication shop.

  • Practical welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Proven ability to weld structural steel with a steady hand and consistent pace.
  • Comfort and competency in reading blueprints and working from measurements independently.
  • A strong, self-motivated work ethic, reliability, and respect for production deadlines.
  • Someone who takes ownership of their work and understands the workflow of a production shop.

This Role Is Not a Fit If:

  • You are brand new to welding or still learning the fundamentals.
  • You are seeking a classroom-style training role or a formal apprenticeship.
  • You require constant, step-by-step direction to complete standard welding tasks.

What We Offer

We believe in fair compensation, steady work, and a respectful environment for skilled tradespeople.

  • Competitive Pay: $19.00 – $28.55 per hour, based on your demonstrated skill and performance.
  • Stability: Steady, year-round work with consistent 40-hour weeks.
  • Quality Environment: A well-equipped fabrication shop with organized, production-focused workflows.
  • Growth: Opportunities for advancement for welders who prove their skill, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Culture: A team environment built on accountability, clear communication, and mutual respect.
