Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients’ premises are maintained to our exacting standards. Your core duties will include:

• Performing thorough cleaning tasks across various commercial and industrial sites as per assigned schedules.
• Utilizing appropriate methods and products for different environments, with particular attention to sites like food production areas.
• Safely operating a company van to travel between job locations in Waihi and the surrounding area, including during evening hours.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high-quality finish before leaving a site.
• Maintaining a clean and organized worksite and vehicle, and reporting any supply needs or issues promptly.
• Providing flexible support by covering shifts when needed to ensure seamless service for our clients.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who embodies trustworthiness and a strong work ethic. The ideal person will have:

• Previous experience in a commercial cleaning role, or a genuine, strong interest in building a career in the industry.
• An understanding of cleaning protocols for specific environments, such as factories or food production facilities, is highly regarded.
• A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and the confidence to drive a van in both urban settings and after dark.
• Outstanding honesty, reliability, and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Availability to work scheduled rostered hours between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
• The flexibility to assist with additional hours occasionally to cover team absences.
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.
