Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for delivering high-standard cleaning services across various sites. Your duties will include:
- Performing comprehensive vacuuming of carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture.
- Thoroughly cleaning, dusting, and polishing all furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Cleaning and polishing hard floor surfaces to a high standard.
- Operating industrial cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
- Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes, and light fixtures.
- Ensuring premises are tidy by removing all rubbish and waste materials.
- Applying appropriate cleaning solvents and agents to various surfaces as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable candidates who can meet the following requirements:
- While 6 months of prior cleaning experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory—we provide full initial training.
- Must hold a valid, appropriate full driver’s licence for cars in New Zealand.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a police background check.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, public holidays, school holidays, and night shifts between 7:00 pm and 2:00 am, is essential.
- A good level of physical fitness is required to perform the duties of the role effectively.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a reliable, professional attitude are paramount.
