Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a healthy environment.
- Set up and break down furniture and equipment for meetings, classroom activities, and school events.
- Maintain the exterior premises, including sidewalks and entryways, keeping them safe and free of debris.
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and moving supplies or equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any safety hazards or repair needs promptly.
- Follow established procedures for the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a proper and timely manner.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need:
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- The physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including standing/walking for 8 hours, lifting/moving up to 50 lbs, and bending or crouching as needed.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- A commitment to safety and the well-being of students and staff.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday on a consistent schedule.
Benefits and Perks
This is a full-time position offering stability and the chance to be an integral part of our school community. We provide:
- A salary range of $31,000 – $41,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
- A full benefits package including vacation, employee-paid healthcare options, and a retirement plan (with required years of service).
