Key Responsibilities

In this combined role, you will ensure our community shines and our residents enjoy a gracious dining experience. Your primary duties will be split between two essential functions:

Housekeeping Duties:

• Provide general and deep cleaning for the entire Community, including resident apartments, common areas, dining rooms, hallways, and patios.
• Perform detailed tasks in apartments such as vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linens, defrosting refrigerators, and ensuring adequate supplies.
• Launder all community linens using our on-site facilities, following proper procedures.
• Maintain a spotless main entryway and public spaces, paying special attention to carpets, windows, and light fixtures.

Server Duties:

• Greet residents warmly in the dining room, take meal orders courteously, and serve food and beverages.
• Bus and clear tables after meals, resetting them properly for the next service while following all sanitation guidelines.
• Perform essential side work like refilling condiments, cleaning equipment, and ensuring the dining area is tidy and inviting.
• Assist with delivering trays to resident rooms when needed and supporting kitchen staff with storing perishable items.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable individual who enjoys helping others and pays attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong basic skills in reading, writing, and math.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with both team members and residents.
• A good understanding of sanitation and safe food handling practices; we provide training on our specific standards.
• Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• The ability to retain and process multiple resident orders during meal service.
• Basic computer skills for tasks like clocking in and out or reviewing schedules.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine desire to contribute to a warm community atmosphere.
