 Key Responsibilities

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind a high-performing team and smooth daily operations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading the orientation and ongoing training for all new housekeeping employees, ensuring they understand procedures and standards from day one.
• Directly supervising, scheduling, and motivating the daytime housekeeping staff, monitoring their work to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Conducting regular building and facility inspections to proactively identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with all cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Managing all administrative tasks with accuracy, including recording and submitting payroll, completing daily/weekly reports, and maintaining light personnel files.
• Overseeing supply inventory, distribution, and requisition to ensure your team has the tools they need without waste or shortage.
• Implementing company policies consistently, including uniform standards, and providing clear, documented feedback—both praise and corrective guidance to employees.
• Utilizing strong customer relations skills to address any client or guest concerns professionally and promptly.

Qualifications

To be successful in this leadership role, you will need a combination of practical experience and interpersonal skills:

• Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory or team lead role, with a strong background in facility management.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for training staff, providing feedback, and interacting with clients.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle disciplinary or performance matters with fairness and discretion.
• Proficiency with basic computer software; skills in Word and Excel for spreadsheets and reports are highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of event planning and supply inventory management is a valuable asset for this role.
