In this important role, you’ll ensure our residents’ personal clothing and village linen are cared for with dignity and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

You will provide an essential service that supports the comfort and daily lives of our residents.

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient laundering, careful sorting, and timely delivery of all village linen and residents’ personal clothing.
  • Work closely and supportively with your colleagues in the laundry and wider village team to maintain a seamless service.
  • Strictly observe all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to protect the well-being of residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Take pride in your work, paying excellent attention to detail to handle residents’ belongings with care and respect.

Qualifications

  • A natural sense of strong empathy and a respectful, friendly professional manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a reliable, responsible work ethic.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
  • Full eligibility to work in New Zealand is required for this position.
