Key Responsibilities

You will be the go-to expert for WHS, ensuring our operations and projects meet the highest safety standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across airport operations and active construction sites.
• Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive WHS documentation, including Safety Plans, SWMS, procedures, and policies.
• Deliver safety inductions, training, and briefings to staff and contractors, and provide authoritative WHS advice to all levels of the organisation.
• Support incident investigations and promote a proactive, sustainable safety culture.
• Maintain and improve WHS management systems to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices, providing specific aviation safety advice as required.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified professional with relevant industry experience and a collaborative spirit.

• Essential: A Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or a related field).
• Essential: Demonstrated experience in WHS compliance within construction, aviation, or infrastructure environments.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
